**60 % is not First Division in Engineering !!!**

What is **First Division**? How much percentage one should score to get **First Division**? If you ask above question to a person, you will get **60 %** as answer.

The reason is that in almost all school boards, first division is 60% or above. So naturally students think that to get **First Division Degree** in **Engineering**, they have to score overall **60%**. Some students are in this illusion till the day when they view their final semester results. Some students get shocked when they score above 60 %, yet get a **Second Division Degree**.

The reason behind all above facts is that **First Division** is different in **Engineering**, than in school boards.

In engineering following is the division system:

1.First Division (Hons.) Percentage is **75% or above**.

2.First Division Percentage is **65% or above**.

Thus, the students scoring below 65% got **Second Division Degree**. Hope students will find this information helpful for them.
